A day after being discharged from the hospital, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with cancer while his wife Maanayata Dutt asked fans and colleagues to remember her in prayers.
On the night of August 11, Dutt and his family flew in a special plane from India to Dubai and then to New York for treatment, where doctors told him he had been diagnosed with lung cancer and was in the third stage.
Maanayata Dutt shared new photos of Sanjay Dutt with her children and family on social networking site Instagram.
She wrote on Instagram: "Today I want to thank God for giving me a wonderful gift as a family with which we have no complaints. We will always be together." Amen.
